Who we are

The data controller for this website is WNGSPAN Innovations LLC. You can reach us at admin@wngspan.com.

What we collect, and why

Your email address, if you sign up, so we can tell you when a book comes out or when the books can be bought in Nigeria. If you suggest a topic, we keep the suggestion, and your email too if you add it.

If you vote, a cookie called uo_voter holds a random id for one year. It is there only so one browser counts once per topic. It says nothing about who you are.

The free coloring-page form on the home page adds you to the same launch list, with a note of which page you asked for. The download itself does not depend on it.

Your IP address is used to stop abuse, such as one computer sending hundreds of sign-ups. We never store it as it is: we keep a scrambled (hashed) form for no more than 24 hours, then delete it.

We count page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and does not follow you around the web.

Who handles it for us

Our database is run by Supabase and the website by Vercel. Your data may be stored in the United States.

Our legal basis

We email you because you asked us to (your consent), and you can withdraw that at any time. We use hashed IP addresses because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the site free of abuse.

How long we keep it

Your email until you unsubscribe. Votes and topic suggestions while the vote runs. Hashed IP addresses for up to 24 hours.

Your rights

Every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to show you, correct or delete what we hold about you by writing to admin@wngspan.com. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to your data protection authority.
